The Shiretown Blogger anticipating changes to keep up with fast-changing world

Today's society is rapidly changing, and The Shiretown Blogger must change with it.

The blog is creeping closer to the 8,000-hit mark. This means only 2,000 more before The Shiretown Blogger reaches its goal of 10,000 pageviews by July 19, 2012--the blog's one-year anniversary. I would like to thank you, the readers, for your endless support and positive feedback of my blogging endeavours. Your appreciation for my work has inspired and encouraged me to continue blogging.

In the coming weeks and months, The Shiretown Blogger will be undergoing some minor changes. Improvements will begin with the Facebook page, which will be upgraded in the near future to serve you better. Then I plan to change the color scheme and a few other aspects of the blog in effort to keep it fresh while continuing to provide readers with a top quality community news source.

You may have noticed a reduction in regular news updates on The Shiretown Blogger over the past few months. As I am a high school student with part-time winter employment, it is sometimes difficult to cover community news and other happenings as much as I would like. It may appear that the blog's focus has slightly changed to highlight local sports and current issues, things that make up only a small part of what can be found on The Shiretown Blogger. In the coming months, The Shiretown Blogger's presence in the community will be felt once again as I will be able to be out and about more frequently.

No matter how many changes I make to the blog or the tools I use to promote it, the one thing that will remain the same is The Shiretown Blogger's motto of "sharing community news in effort to celebrate our wealthy community and its progress."
