The former Allied Marine Centre met the wrecking ball on Monday, August 8th. In recent years, the building was being used for storage for Allied Golf Cars and was owned by Gordon Gaddas. I had originally thought that crews would only be taking off the roof by hand on Monday, and that the concrete block walls would be bulldozed. However, I stopped by after work and the roof in 2 to 3 large pieces with the concrete blocks scattered underneath. I meant to get a picture of the building as it stood on Sunday.
