It was used until 1997, and is now an office building for the New Brunswick Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport. Douglas Arch was a corrections officer at the Woodstock Jail at one time. His book, The Life of a Screw, tells the story of his life as a guard in the jail and the happenings inside the brick walls of the 110-year-old structure. The book was released in the spring of 2011.  |
