On Friday, August 5th, The Shiretown Blogger visited the 2011 Dooryard Arts Festival headquarters, located in the former Acorn Books location in the Capitol Square building on Queen Street. I am glad to have stopped by. I was kindly greeted by Dooryard festival organizers and River Valley Arts Alliance (RiVA) board members Geoff Stairs and Laurel Green. Geoff and Laurel gave me a souvenir 32-page information guidebook of this year's festival, a souvenir poster, and valuable information about the festival.

The poster looks great on my bedroom wall! Thanks Laurel and Geoff!
