The Woodstock Slammers fell to the Dieppe Commandos in their second consecutive loss on the road on Wednesday, January 18th in MHL hockey action.
After a scoreless first period, Woodstock's Bradley Greene opened the scoring on the power play at 9:47. This would be the only goal for the visiting Shiretown side in the 2-1 loss.
Dieppe right winger Anthony Brockman netted an unassisted goal at 12:24.
Commandos defense man Adam Guy scored the only third period goal on a power play at 16:57.
Dieppe netminder Jonathan Waye said no to 29 of 30 shots faced for the win. Matt Murphy was between the posts for the Slammers and refused 20 of 22 shots faced in just over 59 minutes of playing.
The Slammers will face the Commandos tonight in hopes of taking revenge on home ice. Game time is at 7:30 pm at the Carleton Civic Centre.
